Recipes for The Month

Cooking nutritious and healthy food for your little one is of paramount importance if you want to see them grow into happy individuals. Finding good recipes for them can make a world of difference and there are multiple options available for anyone who wants their kids to grow the right way.

Here are some awesome new mom essentials recipes for you to opt for this month and ensure your baby eats well and rests even better:

  1. Pureed Apricots:

Why is it beneficial to them: Apricots have a wonderful pale orange colour, which is due to their high beta-carotene content, which translates to plenty of vitamin A for your kid. It also contains fibre, which your baby's body requires for optimum growth, as well as a healthy amount of iron, vitamin C, and potassium.

When to give them: Your kid should be ready to consume apricots at the age of six months; if you feed them before then, it may have a laxative effect due to their underdeveloped immune systems, which no one wants!

  2. Pureed Butternut Squash:

Why is it beneficial to them: Butternut squash is another nutritious orange food that is high in beta-carotene. The simple fats in this delicious vegetable will provide enough of energy for your baby to get through the day's worth of playing, learning, and developing. Butternut squash is strong in vitamin C and antioxidants, which is fantastic for keeping your baby fighting fit.

It's also considered to lower your baby's risk of developing asthma and other inflammatory diseases.

When to offer it: Because butternut squash has a soft flesh that is simple to digest, it is an excellent first solid food to present to your baby around the age of six months, depending on their rate of growth.

  3. Baby Food With Avocado and Banana:

This dish combines two delicious foods: avocados (high in healthy fats and fibre) and bananas (high in potassium) (potassium and vitamin C).

The banana also provides a touch of sweetness and lightens up the avocado purée, which is normally rather thick. For small newborns, skip the sugar and rely on the rich flavor of the food.

When to introduce it: Once your kid has become accustomed to solid foods, you may combine the two!

  4. Banana Quinoa Mash:

Quinoa is a high-protein grain that may be added to your developing baby's diet. This gives the banana mash a fun new texture, and it's an item that your infant undoubtedly already enjoys.

Also, try giving cooked quinoa to your infant on its own. Cooked seeds cling to a baby's fingers, making it a convenient meal to consume.

When to introduce it: You may offer this combination to your baby when he or she is approximately 9 months old!
