Easy Summer Recipe for Toddlers

With summer well and truly here, it’s important that moms are able to keep toddlers happy and content. Many of them turn out to be fussy eaters, and cooking for them can be quite the challenge.

That’s why we’ve got you a list of fun and easy summer recipes that are bound to satisfy your toddlers and give you a stress-free season of sunshine:

  1. Strawberry And Kiwi Cubes:

These are a great way to give your kids a natural sugar rush while helping them eat healthily too. Strawberries and kiwis are excellent sources of nutrients in the summer, and you can create a truly spectacular snack that lasts the whole season.

Ingredients & Recipe:

  1. Wash and then peel the fruits in order to extract the pulp

  2. Mix sugar, fresh cream and some cinnamon powder to blend it along with the pulp

  3. Place the mixture on a tray and top it with some small pieces of kiwi

  4. Place it in the freezer and remove it once it becomes semi-frozen

  5. Cut the cubes into smaller sized ones and serve them cold

  1. Watermelon And Orange Pops:

These pops are an excellent way to add a bit of fun to the summer and definitely one that’s going to be a hit with the kids.

Ingredients & Recipe:

  1. Remove the seeds from the oranges and watermelon

  2. Cut the watermelon pieces in a mixer and make a smooth flowing juice

  3. Make another one with the oranges

  4. Add a bit of ginger ale (1 tsp) and honey (1 tbsp.) and blend it with the mixture

  5. Cut the remaining orange wedges into smaller ones and add them to the mixture

  6. Pour them into popsicle cones, cover with foil and place them on a stick. You can keep the cones in the freezer and take them out a few hours later for the kids to enjoy.

  1. Nuts and Mango Smoothie:

Mangoes are the unofficial fruit of the summer, and kids always love them. You can create a delicious smoothie with this fun recipe:

  1. Choose a mango with a lot of pulp, extract it and leave some intact

  2. Boil a little milk and let it cool

  3. Add the pulp and some rice flour to the milk and mix it thoroughly

  4. Cut the remaining mango into smaller pieces and sprinkle them on the mixture

  5. Add cashew, walnuts and almonds

  6. Top it with some fresh cream and serve cold!
